My candidacy to serve as one of the forum admins

Hi everyone,

After taking the time of thinking, I have expressed my interests to the current forum admins to help them in this role. I would to make it public by submitting my candidacy as one of the forum admin.

I am the facilitator for French-speaking communities in the Movement Strategy and Governance team at the Foundation, and one of my priority is ensuring that we are not leaving anyone aside to the language barrier. This forum is helping us achieve this, making it for anyone here to understand others and get heard.

Apart from that, I am also a community organizing and volunteer. I mostly contribute to the French Wikipedia and the incubated Fon Wikipedia, and co-founded the Wikimedia Benin User Group. With my technical background, I submitted in the past, a few patches to MediaWiki and pywikibot library.

Since the launch of the forum I had been around supporting mostly with making the interface translation process accessible for all and supporting with technical task like collecting, cleaning and uploading translations of tags and categories names and descriptions in different languages.

Now I’m offering to support the admin team on, among others, tech-related tasks: helping with the forum settings and configs, supporting on groups and categories creation and also making this space more welcoming.

I have already read all the guidelines of this forum and get all the necessary badges. I also agree to follow Universal Code of Conduct as a forum admin and commit to act in coordination with the other administrators of the forum.
