About the session: This session focuses on Wikimedia hubs and explains the term to the audience by referring to the historical background of the initiative and the Wikimedia 2030 strategy, and the work that has been done on a regional level and diving into the work done in our region, to create an opportunity for brainstorming and thinking together about the various possibilities related to the hub in the region.
Intended Outcomes:
- Clarify and simplify the idea of the Wikimedia Regional Hub to the public and its current situation.
- Gather participants’ views about the regional hub in our region.

عن الورشة: تهدف هذه الورشة إلى تقديم موضوع مراكز ويكيميديا بشكل مبسط للمشاركين، من خلال الرجوع إلى الخلفية التاريخية للمبادرة والاستراتيجية ويكيميديا 2030، و سرد العمل الذي بدأ على مستوى مختلف المناطق، ثم التركيز على منطقتنا، لخلق فرصة للعصف الذهني والتفكير سويا في مختلف الإمكانيات المتعلقة بمركز في المنطقة.
مخرجات الورشة: المخرج الأول هو توضيح وتبسيط فكرة مراكز ويكيميديا الإقليمية للجمهور، والتعريف بوضعها الحالي، أما المخرج الثاني فسيكون هو جمع آراء وإضافات المشاركين حول المركز الإقليمي بمنطقتنا.
