The idea is not too urgent to do in the near future, but it is an open invitation for Wikimedians in Japan from us if they would like to collaborate with friends in other countries, especially in ESEAP region.
Also curious: what kind of on-wiki activities that editors in jawiki love to do?

Hello! I am from Paiwan Wikimedians User Group. Thanks for your attention on our proposal. And now we did send it, hoping that we can have the support from the Foundation later. If you’re interested in our user group, here is the video you can check it out on Youtube. We’ve made the clip for the Celtic Knot Conference this year. In the video, we briefly introduce our work all over the year. We are quite a small community on Wikimedia, but we do believe it’s a good way to use our language on Wikimedia projects. If doing this, we do develop our langauge on the internet, and keep our culture, for that the culture is actually in the language itself.
Now we don’t have the translate machine here for my langauge, Taiwanese, and not to mention Paiwanese. However, for me, this is our responsibility. We, the community should bring more voices to here, to the internet that later, someone will see the need of the translation. And a translate machine will be set up then.
For me personally, there are some underlying issues about the content gap and topics, where there are so many of the user group and affiliate page was only available in their own mother language and it included what kind of activities the user group or affiliate did in their own country. To tackle the problem of what kind of topic and content gap that we need to address, we need a kind of division which is maybe will be a nice addition to the proposed ESEAP hub where the division works by translating and also publicizing activities in the form of a newsletter about what the affiliate and user group, specifically ESEAP region did to ease the collaboration between user group and affiliates and also make volunteer which is not part of the affiliate or user group know what kind of thing that they think important to add. it’ just my opinion and suggestion cause i face this problem for a long time cause almost all of ESEAP region have different language.
