لاحظت أنه توجد إمكانية لتعديل المنشورات (حتى أن الموقع يمنحك شارة على ذلك)، لكن لا توجد طريقة لتعديل الردود (مثلا تصحيح بعض الأحطاء الإملائية والنحوية) وخاصة أنه ستترجم آليا لغير المتكلنيمين بلغة الرد، فيمكن أن يُساء فهم الرد

A problem that a wiki-discourse integration would surely fix!

Forum users can make their comments editable if they wish. They have to do this manually one by one, though.
At the bottom of your comments, click the three dots, then the 
icon, and then “Make wiki”.
There is no setting to make your comments or all comments wiki editable by default.
In MediaWiki anyone can edit anyone’s comments on a Talk page, true. While this has some advantages, it also can be abused in blatant and also subtle ways. Not everyone is happy about others editing their comments (even if it’s for typos and commas), and sometimes these gestures are part of conscious or unconscious power play in discussions.
Basically everywhere else in the Internet, the expectation is that nobody touches your comments, except perhaps a moderator. This is what people find in Discourse and on this forum too.
