Suggested topics listing without archived topics possible?

I am catching up with Forum posts, for which I expressed interest once, but among them are many which have been archived and I wonder if it is possible not to see them in suggested.

For example: Which Wikimania sessions are you planning to attend? (! maybe someone should add in title 2022 as 2023 discussions started)

Here is an explanation about how Suggested Topics works:

I thought that closed topics would not appear as suggested. Please confirm that you have seen it, and then I can ask about the expected behavior. I agree that, because they are closed, they shouldn’t be suggested anymore.
