it seems to me like this forum was meant to be a general discussion forum for the whole wikipedia community, around the world. is it possible to discuss some ideas here, for making this happen? feel free to comment.

It’s hard to have discussions when the discussions disappear under announcement spam. Perhaps there should be one thread per month for announcements?
