This approach sounds like a well-rounded strategy for gathering insights about the MS Forum. Conducting regular surveys every six months, along with offering spaces for free-form feedback on platforms like Meta-Wiki and the Movement Strategy channel on Telegram, is a thoughtful way to ensure comprehensive input. It’s great to see these efforts to engage with a wider audience, including those who might not use the Forum. The inclusion of spaces like the Movement Strategy channel on Telegram aligns well with the concept of Telegram Group Links, fostering diverse interactions.
hello? @NPhan_WMF , ok. so can you please tell me when the, quote, “long-term maintenance of the MS Forum and its integration into the Movement Strategy processes” will actually begin? I really would like some follow up on this. thanks.
for the record:
Thanks for the ping! I was helping to launch the MS Forum as project manager, but that ended after a few months of its creation. For the past year, the MS Forum has been transitioned to another project team. (Hence my inactivity – I’ve been focusing on my other projects.)
@NPhan_WMF , ok fair rnough,. could you please tell me which team is now handling ms forums, and who is on it? also tagging @AAkhmedova_WMF @Qgil-WMF @DBarthel_WMF
@MPossoupe_WMF will be best positioned to assist
@MPossoupe_WMF , could you please tell me the current status of the maintenance of MS forums by the WMF team, as outlined above? thanks.
@NPhan_WMF , thanks for your helpful replies on that.
Hi @Sm8900, thanks for your interest in the forum activity. I was out of the office, hence the delay in the response.
The forum is still maintained as planned. It was designed to be a space for volunteers to connect and share about Movement Strategy.
Looking at the monthly activity reports of the forum, we are seeing a decline in the number of contributions from volunteers and are monitoring this.
I know you are very passionate about the Forum and its use. If you are up for it, I’d really value an in-depth conversation about the forum. Would any of these times work for you to meet up?
Best regards,
HI @MPossoupe_WMF , I would be absolutely glad to discuss with you any time. as one method to do this more easily, would you like to simply text me to discus a date and time?
below is my google voice number, where i am fully able to receive and send texts. would that be ok? pls feel free to let me know. thanks.

Hi @Sm8900,
Thanks for the reply. I already suggested some dates and time. Just click on this link, and please let me know if any of those slots work for you. If not, we can arrange another slots that work for both of us.
I understand that you prefer over SMS. Can Telegram be an option?
Thanks
thats terrific. however it seems to be telling me that no dates are available. maybe some glitch is occuring? feel free to let me know what steps I should do.
by the way, i used to have telegram, but now i don’t have it installed currently. you should try google voice for sms. it is highly useful, and in my opinion everyone here should use it as one good optional method.
Hi @Sm8900, available were last week, that is why it is no more working. I am adding new dates for us next week. Please feel free to suggest new ones if any of those don’t work for you.
Here is the link with the suggested dates and time:
Thanks
ok, will try to do so, thanks.
