The apps team is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of a new and exciting feature for the Wikipedia Android app! As contributors and enthusiasts of Wikipedia, we know that images play a vital role in enhancing articles and making them more informative and engaging.
With the Image Recommendation Feature, you can now easily evaluate images and determine whether they should be added to Wikipedia articles. Whether you have a small screen or face inconsistent internet connectivity, contributing to articles in need of more content has never been easier.
Important Update: The Image Recommendation Feature will now be available in the Wikipedia apps (previously on Mobile Web for new editors). However, please note that it will be exclusively accessible to experienced users with more than 50 edits.
