The first of two mass mailings has been sent in the past hours, and now there are more than 2000 votes. Let’s see how the number of votes compare to the 2021 election next Monday, after the dust of this mass mailing settles.
By then it should be also possible to see which wikis have the lowest relative participation, which might be useful for focused promotion on those communities.
Looking at the statistics right now…
Projects with 10 to 99 eligible voters;
- ha.wikipedia.org has the highest turnout (22.222%). Congratulations @Em-mustapha @AYM8818 @M_Bash_Ne and other Hausa speakers!
- gl.wikipedia.org (Galician), eo.wikipedia.org (Esperanto) and ms.wikipedia.org (Malay) are the projects with more eligible voters and no votes yet.
Projects with 100 to 999 eligible voters:
- ar.wikipedia.org has the highest turnout (7.692%). Congratulations @Nehaoua @Sandra_Hanbo @Dezedien and other Arabic speakers!
- ko.wikipedia.org (Korean), hy.wikipedia.org (Armenian), and da.wikipedia.org (Danish) have the lowest turnaround.
Projects with 1000 eligible voters or more:
- pl.wikipedia.org has the highest turnaround (4.199%). (Can it be that nobody has posted in Polish on this forum yet?)
- ja.wikipedia.org (Japanese), it.wikipedia.org (Italian), and ru.wikipedia.org (Russian) have the lowest turnaround.
How is your wiki project doing?
